Co-Ref: A Hub for Innovation
The recent Co-Ref (Cold Chain & Refrigeration Exhibition) held at the World Trade Center in Binh Duong New City, Vietnam (May 21-23, 2024), proved to be a resounding success for Specco2. This premier event, attracting a diverse range of stakeholders – from leading manufacturers and distributors to logistics providers like Konoike Vinatrans Logistics Co., Ltd – fosters a dynamic environment for knowledge sharing, business development, and forging strategic partnerships. Our participation focused on showcasing our innovative Olivo line of insulated boxes, attracting significant interest from industry professionals seeking sustainable cold chain solutions.
The Olivo Advantage
Specco2’s booth buzzed with activity as visitors explored the exciting features of the Olivo range. The lineup includes:
- Olivo Products (64L): These lightweight (2.1kg) and versatile boxes offer exceptional insulation, perfect for last-mile deliveries of temperature-sensitive goods. Their compact size makes them ideal for a wide range of products.
- Olivo Bac 55 (53L): This option provides a slightly larger capacity (53L) while maintaining a manageable weight (16kg). Its design caters to a wider variety of temperature-controlled transport needs.
- Olivo Roll 1300 (1300L): Ideal for large-scale cold chain applications, the Olivo Roll 1300 boasts a massive 1300L capacity and a sturdy build (156kg). This impressive unit delivers exceptional insulation for long-distance transport and bulk deliveries.
- Eutectic Plate GASTRO (-26°C) and Eutectic Plate TOP 780 (-3°C): Specco2 also offers a selection of Eutectic Plates to complement the Olivo insulated boxes. These plates come in two variations: Eutectic Plate GASTRO (-26°C) and Eutectic Plate TOP 780 (-3°C). Both feature a pre-determined freezing point thanks to their eutectic liquid core. This specialized liquid is a non-toxic, food-grade solution formulated to solidify and release specific temperatures during its phase change.
- The Eutectic Plate GASTRO, with its dimensions of 530 x 325 x 35 mm and a weight of 5.3 kg when unloaded, is ideal for applications requiring a colder environment, reaching temperatures as low as -26°C.
- The Eutectic Plate TOP 780 boasts larger dimensions (650 x 402 x 35 mm) and a higher unloaded weight (8.5 kg) and is suited for maintaining a cooler range around -3°C. By pre-freezing these Eutectic Plates and placing them within the Olivo boxes, they act as a reliable cold source, ensuring consistent temperatures for your temperature-sensitive products during transport or storage.
Beyond capacity and weight, Specco2’s Olivo boxes captivated attendees with their commitment to sustainability and performance:
- Non-Toxic Materials: Olivo boxes are crafted with non-toxic materials, ensuring the safety of both the environment and the products they transport.
- Reusable Design: These boxes are built to last, designed for multiple trips, minimizing waste and promoting a circular economy within the cold chain.
- Long Cooling Duration: Olivo’s superior insulation properties guarantee extended periods of consistent cool temperatures, minimizing the risk of spoilage.
- 100% Eco-Responsible: We prioritize environmental responsibility. Olivo boxes contribute to a more sustainable cold chain by reducing reliance on disposable packaging and minimizing energy consumption during transportation.
Positive Reception and Collaboration
The Specco2 team at Co-Ref fielded numerous inquiries and received enthusiastic feedback from potential partners and customers. The Olivo line‘s combination of exceptional performance, reusability, and eco-friendliness resonated strongly with attendees seeking innovative solutions for the evolving cold chain landscape.
Building on this momentum, Provigood, a leading authorized reseller of Olivo products in Vietnam, further solidified its position as a sustainability champion within the cold chain industry. Mr. Vincent Treluyer, Provigood’s founder and CEO, delivered a thought-provoking presentation titled “How Using Passive Cold Insulated Containers in Urban Areas Can Help You Reach CRS Goals.” This presentation aligned perfectly with our message, showcasing how the Olivo line’s reusability and reduced reliance on disposable packaging directly translate to a more sustainable cold chain, particularly in densely populated urban areas.
This focus on sustainability underscores the collaborative spirit between Specco2, its authorized resellers, and the broader cold chain community in Vietnam. By working together, we can empower businesses to achieve their CRS goals and contribute to a greener future for the industry.
Looking Ahead
Specco2’s successful participation at Co-Ref underscores the growing demand for sustainable cold chain technologies. With our commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility, we are well-positioned to continue leading the way with the Olivo line of insulated boxes, shaping a greener future for the cold chain industry.
